Électroporation irréversible percutanée dans les cancers du pancréas localement avancés (IRECAP) : Une étude prospective de phase II, à bras unique, monocentrique
Anglais
Travail non accessible
Percutaneous irreversible electroporation in patients with locally advanced pancreatic adenocarcinoma seems to lead 30% of patients to R0-R1 surgical resection which is associated with a better overall survival.
Key Results
Percutaneous irreversible electroporation (IRE) resulted in a median overall survival of 33,3 months after diagnosis of locally advanced pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
The technique is efficient with 100% success rate, safe with less than 20% severe complication and no death due to the IRE procedure.
R1 or R0 margin can be obtain in 35% of LAPC patients after IRE.
